• The Vedanta Movement was started by Swami Vivekananda in the mid-1890s under a Divine plan to fulfill the above objective.

• He envisaged an association of sincere and dedicated individuals with a common goal in sight who can become a powerful gigantic machine to accomplish wonders which is impossible to attain individually.

• Such an institution is like a fruiting tree that gives shelter, support, and life-sustaining fruits to the weary citizens of the society who come in close contact with it.

• Like a tree, an institution also requires timely nourishment and nurturing. ​The best way to nourish this great institution is to lead a sincere and righteous life becoming a part of this Divine family.
