Description

The earliest surviving text of the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy. This is the oldest available Samkhya (one of the six main philosophical views in Hinduism) work, explaining the essential teachings of Kapila as taught to Asuri and by Asuri to Panchashika. After Vedanta, the Sankhya school has the biggest influence on Hindu thought and culture.
